Course Description: The procedure of the criminal justice system in pakistan is derived from Criminal Procedure Code 1898. The course is expected to guide and prepare trainees through rigorous coaching in the procedure that is to be followed in criminal cases by courts in Pakistan. The course will include all important provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code 1898 related to the investigation stage, the rules and procedure of bail, trial and appeal. The course will also concentrate on fatal and non-fatal offences against the person and offences against property as well as the range of defenses that may be available on a criminal charge. The course will equip the participants with all the legal tools required from the occurrence of any offence till the conclusion of its trial.
