Position Title: Principal - Law (Gujranwala Branch)

Salary: Rs.150,000 – Rs. 300,000 depending on experience and background.

Educational requirements: LLB plus LLM or PhD Law

Experience: A minimum of 15 years teaching experience PLUS 15 years of High Court License.

Blackstone School of Law & Business is looking for a school leader for the position of Principal. Blackstone offers LLB (Hons), Master of Laws (LLM), Bar Transfer Course (BTC), and foundation programs in law and business from Pearson (UK) and ATHE (UK).

Role: The concerned person will be responsible for all administrative work and projects assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in all matters concerning the professional development of faculty, staff members and recruiting.  

2. Assist in the planning and development of the School.

3. Supervise all academic staff.

4. Improve School policies, procedures, rules and regulations, and act as the point of contact for the same with students, faculty and staff.

5. Represent the School on various campus committees, events, and outside organizations.

6. Act as a resource person for students and parents, and provide counsel in problem areas.

7. Developing and tracking benchmarks for measuring institutional success.

8. Meeting and listening to concerns of students on a regular basis.

9. Providing an atmosphere free of any bias in which students can achieve their maximum potential.

10. May teach courses as required.

11. Uphold the missions, vision, and culture of the organization.

12. Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Post for Blackstone School of Law

Salary: Rs. 25,000 base salary, plus Rs 50,000 commission on achieving targets.

  • Assists in creating programs and activities to recruit and retain students

  • Reviews prospective students’ applications and directs them to the appropriate sources for guidance on courses of study, financial aid, scholarships, or other information

  • Meets with prospective students and answers questions about the university, areas of study, and opportunities for students.

  • Gives tours of the campus

  • Answering questions about Blackstone School of Law and its programs

  • Setting up meetings between potential students or their parents with the admissions team for closing.

  • Complete call logs and reports

  • Ensures that application information is entered into the student database

  • Travels to high schools, technical schools, and community or junior colleges to promote the university

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  •    Extensive knowledge about the university, its faculty, and its student population.

  •    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  •    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Call center work experience preferred.

  • Ability to handle stress.

Position Title: Permanent or Visiting Faculty (Gujranwala Branch)

Requirements: Masters Degree in Law/LLM with 5 years of teaching experience or practice in the High Court.

OR

LLB with 10 years of teaching experience/ or practice in the High Court.

Role Purpose: To conduct and contribute to research, learning and development, and knowledge transfer for the benefit of students of the College.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students

  • Design, develop and review teaching activities and materials

  • Identify best and innovative practices in learning and teaching and build these into personal teaching practice

  • Maintain an understanding of how emerging research in the subject discipline can shape and improve the curriculum, and inform personal teaching practice

  • Contribute to course/program curriculum development, review, and design

  • Give effective advice, guidance, and feedback to students, to support their academic progress

  • Enhance student experience and outcomes

  • Contribute to or lead (under guidance) research publications, and the development of a research-based culture.

  • Contribute to the administration of the academic program, by supporting students, recruitment, induction, etc.

  • Undertake other activities, as required.
